PPL Field Trip!

We envision a food system in which farmworkers and all people not only have access to culturally relevant and healthy food but co-create a food system without exploitation of workers or the land. The Whatcom Food Network Shares this vision and on Thursday they are hosting a community gathering that will give us all a chance to shape the Whatcom County Food System Plan. Because we are in solidarity with the Whatcom Food Network our People’s Participation Lab Thursday will be a field trip to the gathering!

Note on the time change: We will meet at our Downtown Bellingham Centro (1319 Cornwall Ave) at 5 pm, briefly check in, and carpool together to the convening.

Please  RSVP so we can let our siblings at the Whatcom Food Network know how many snacks and drinks to provide. Please note if you can drive a carload of people or if you would like to join a carpool when you RSVP. If you want to meet us directly at the gathering the details are below:
